Restoring High Speed internet is a Welcome Step, state should be next: Saroori

Jammu, February 06: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee, Vice President and Former Minister, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori has welcomed the Government decision to restore high speed 4G internet services in Jammu and Kashmir and said that restoration of statehood should be the next step of government of India followed by the free and fair elections in the state.

In a video message, Saroori said that for a long time, the people of Jammu and Kashmir have been deprived of their legitimate rights. He said that Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad raised the voice of Jammu and Kashmir with great boldness and strongly advocated for the immediate restoration of the rights snatched from the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said, “4G internet has been restored in Jammu and Kashmir is a good news and credited for the same goes to Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad who raised the voice of Jammu and Kashmir People in his speech on the floor of the Parliament with great wisdom.

Saroori said that after a period of 18 months, the internet has been restored and during these tough 18 months, our children have suffered a lot in terms of Education and Economic loss in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that Ghulam Nabi Azad raised his voice for the other rights which Modi Govt. has taken away not only from us, but also from the agitating farmers who are on roads since last several months.

Stressing for unity among various political stakeholders, Saroori said that we have to continue our struggle unitedly to get back our other snatched rights that were snatched by the incumbent government. He said that all the people of Jammu and Kashmir that include Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians and Buddhists should unite and continue their struggle for the restoration of their rights.
