SHOPIAN, FEBRUARY 08: The District Development Commissioner, (DDC) Shopian, SB Suse today convened a meeting here to review pace and progress of various ongoing developmental projects in the district.
While reviewing project-wise status of works, it was informed that mega developmental projects like Trenz Sheikhpora Bridge, Polytechnic College Shopian, Indoor-Stadium, Shopian, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) and District Hospital, Shopian are at the final stage of completion in the district.
The DC also held discussions on some new developmental projects and the work on these projects is expected to be started soon.
Suse stressed upon the executing agencies to ensure completion of the projects at an earliest, so that the same are dedicated to the public within a fixed time-line.
He also said that by commissioning of these projects, Shopian district will witness a sea change in the development profile.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Shopian, Assistant Director-Planning, General Manager-JKPCC, Engineers and other concerned.
