Police public interaction meeting facilitated at PS Karan Nagar

February 12: As a part of public outreach programme, Police Public interaction meeting was facilitated at Police Station Karan Nagar. The meeting was held while following social distancing norms and other protocols.

The interaction meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Karan Nagar and was attended by Coaching Centre Heads/Owners.

During the interaction meeting different issues of public importance like social distancing, use of masks, heating/drinking water/washroom facilities in coaching centres, maintaining of register/forms etc, follow up of COVID-19 protocol, proper permission for coaching centres, installation of CCTV cameras in and outside of coaching centres and proper briefing of students in the class rooms for maintaining discipline in and outside the coaching centres were discussed in detail with the participants. The participants assured their full cooperation for implementing the guidelines discussed in the meeting.

During the meeting, the participants also raised various grievances. The chairing officer assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.

The participants appreciated the efforts of Police for facilitating such meetings where participants express their views freely and urged that such kind of interactive meetings to plug the gap between public and police shall be organized in future too.
