Srinagar, April 30, (JKNS): At least 33 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday raising the coronavirus positive cases in J&K to 614.
While 20 persons tested positive for the disease at CD Hospital Srinagar, 13 cases were detected at SKIMS Soura.As per the officials 222 COVID-19 positive persons had recovered and been discharged from hospitals in J&K.On Thursday, 30 persons were discharged from hospitals in J&K.
“Of the 30 patients, 20 were discharged from Kashmir division while 10 were discharged from Jammu division,” the official said.
The government has banned public movement and in and out of red zones while the movement of people continues to remain restricted.
J&K has so far witnessed eight casualties due to COVID-19 of which seven are from Kashmir including a deceased pregnant woman from Anantnag. (JKNS)
