Ganderbal 24th Feb 2021:An absconder wanted by Police was arrested after evading arrest from 09.07.2019, after strenuous efforts of Police Station Kangan.
Acting on a tip-off about the presence of the accused person at the specified location, Police party of Police Station Kangan led by SHO PS Kangan INSP Aftab Ahmad under the supervision of SDPO Kangan Shri Yasir Qadri-JKPS arrested the person namely Farooq Ahmad Rajput S/o Shahzaman Rajput R/O Chount Waliwar. He was involved in case FIR No. 40/2019 U/S 420, 392, 506, 120B RPC which is registered in P/S kangan.The accused Farooq Ahmad Rajput was on run for last couple of years.People of the area hailed such action and reaffirmed faith on Police
