Over 2.33 lac people covered as COVID-19 health audit continues across the district

GANDERBAL, APRIL 22: The Deputy Commissioner(DC), Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqba,l chaired a meeting with the supervisors and Medical Supervisory Teams (MSTs) to review the progress on door-to-door survey, screening and conduct of health audit through Mobile app SwasthyaNidhi in the district in the lawns of Mini Secretariat Ganderbal, here today.Among others, the meeting was attended by ADC Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba, CMO, Dy CEO and other concerned.Notably, the District Administration has pressed 242 Booth Level Awareness Groups (BAGs) besides supervisors and Medical Supervisory Teams (MSTs) into service to ensure that the vital health audit is conducted in shortest possible time.It was informed that more than 42 thousand households and a population of around 2.33 lac citizens have been covered under the ongoing COVID-19 health audit since its commencement in the district.

During the meeting, DC was informed that the door-to door health audit and survey are in full swing and is being monitored on daily basis and the data collected is shared with the Medical Supervisory Teams through supervisors in a consolidated manner.The DC urged the nominated supervisors to cross check and monitor the work of BAGs by evaluating data randomly to check authenticity of the data collected besides ensure that the health audit is completed within the stipulated time frame.Speaking on the occasion, the DC reiterated that the SwasthyaNidhi COVID-19 Health Audit App is launched with the aim to strengthen surveillance system and procedure for monitoring the households under surveillance on real time basis to ensure effective monitoring of  the health status of the enlisted individuals.
