KUPWARA, MARCH 04: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone who is also the Adjudicating Authority, today while deciding the cases of food safety like adulteration, misbranding and other violations of the FS&SA, penalized 12 erring wholesalers, retailers and realized a fine of Rs.40,000 from them.
He also directed the Food Safety officers to intensify the collection of samples of various food items and get them analysed in the Government laboratories.
