March 07: Police in Kulgam have arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for a long time.
Acting on reliable information regarding an absconder namely Dr. Abdul Bari Naik @Shabir Naik son of Ghulam Mohiudin Naik resident of Chidder Kulgam who was evading his arrest since 2018, a special team of Kulgam Police arrested him from Udhampur. He was wanted by law for his involvements in cases vide FIR No’s. 49/2018 U/S 153, 500, 506 RPC, 191/2018 U/S 153, 353 RPC, 13 UAP Act and 10/2019 U/S 153, 505, 506 RPC, 13 UAP Act of Police Station Kulgam.
Further investigation is going on for his involvement in other criminal activities.
