DDC Pulwama visits MC Office, interacts with Sanitation workers

PULWAMA, MARCH 24: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pulwama, Baseer Ul Haq Choudhary today visited Municipal Committee Office Pulwama and reviewed the functioning of Committee, availability of men and machinery for sanitation works in the district.

While interacting with the municipal officials, the DDC praised   the tireless efforts of sanitation workers in the times of pandemic besides keeping the town clean.

He said District Administration has incorporated an element of technology by introducing GPS devices in Municipal vehicles.  He urged Sanitation Workers to wear gear while rendering services.

He instructed Executive Officer MC to ensure registration of all sanitation workers under Ayushmaan Bharat.-SEHAT scheme and other Government welfare schemes.

He added that the sanitation workers belong to the frontline working category and must undergo Covid vaccination if not administered till date.
