Ganderbal 28th March 2021: Chairman Municipal council Ganderbal Mr. Advocate Altaf along with his team removed advertisement banners on chinars at many places in district Ganderbal particularly in main market Ganderbal which were illegally fixed by some persons to advertise their business.
Chairman Municipal council Mr. Advocate Altaf said, “Nailing advertisement on chinars makes wounds on Chinars and destroys them completely which is untolerable and painful for us. He added that trees plays an important role in our lives and it is because of trees we are alive. We take this step of removing banners from Chinars in order to save the heritage Chinar from getting extinct.
