Ganderbal 31th march(JKNS):Seven persons have been tested positive for Covid-19 in Ganderbal after which District Magistrate declared Rajbagh Coloney Nagbal and Chek Yangoora as micro containment zones .
In two separate orders District Magistrate said stressed upon officials to trace contacts and take stringent precautionary measures by declaring these places as micro containment Zones.
Whereas, it is possible that the said positive COVID-19 cases might have contacted with many persons belonging to from “Bilal-
Abad Sainik School (Chek Yangoora), tehsil Lar and Rajbagh Colony Nagbal and as such the locals of these villages have become susceptible of COVID -19; and Whereas it is felt expedient to break further transmission of COVID-19 and has become imperative to take stringent precautionary measures by declaration of “Bilal-Abad Sainik School (Chek
Yangoora), tehsil Lar and Rajbagh Colony Nagbal as micro-Containment Zones.
Therefore, in view of above, Krittika Jyotsna (IAS), District Magistrate Ganderbal, in exercise of powers vested in me under
the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897, the Disaster Management Act,
2005 and Section 144 CrPc, do hereby order as follows:-
That “Bilal-Abad Sainik School (Chek Yangoora), tehsil Lar and Nagbal are declared as Micro Containment Zones. That there shall be no inward or outward movement of any
person(s) from the micro containment Zonse and people shall stay indoors as there will be complete restrictions in “Bilal-
Abad Sainik School (Chek Yangoora), tehsil Lar and Nagbal and they shall not allow relatives/visitors to visit their homes.That Dr Sultan Medical Officer, (9906814685) and Dr Rakshanda shall be the Administrator of Micro Containment Zones respectively .They b shall coordinate with all line departments to ensure the availability of all basic
facilities including Food grains/LPG/Medicines etc in the Micro Containment Zones.
dAny person(s)/group(s)/institution(s) found violating the directions contained herein this order shall be booked under the provisions of relevant act/rule/law.Concerned Tehsildar/ NT/ BDO shall ensure the implementation of above- mentioned instructions in letter & spirit.(JKNS)
