Man dies after slipping from transformer platform in Central Kashmir

A 22-year-old man died after he slipped from a platform of an electricity transformer in Sachin Bonit area of Beerwah in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

An official told News Agency that man identified as Mohd Iqbal Kambay son of Nazir Ahmad, a resident of Sachin Bonit area slipped from a platform of an electricity transformer while he was helping the other people in installation of the the said transformer, resulting into the serious injuries to him.

He was immediately rushed to District Hospital Budgam where doctors on duty declared him dead on arrival.
