BANDIPORA, APRIL 03: The District Administration Bandipora today kick started the Town beautification programme here, with Kaloosa Bridge beautification inaugurated by District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad.
While briefing the media after formally inaugurating the project at Kaloosa Bridge, the DC stated that different departments are being mobilised, to converge their resources and ideas, to make Bandipora town green, clean and beautiful.
He spoke of pathways, parking areas, walk ways, Solar street lighting etc. being established in the entire town besides, Wall paintings with messages are also being planned to be installed shortly.
The Kaloosa Bridge over Madhumati stream however, has been beautified being centre of attraction.
The project was conceived and designed by Joint Director Planning who hinted at more such interventions in coming days.
