Police arrests terrorist associate in Sopore; Incriminating material recovered

April 05: Acting on specific information, a joint checkpoint by Sopore Police, 22RR and 179Bn CRPF was established at Model Town crossing Sopore.

During checking one hard core terrorist associate linked with proscribed terror outfit TRF identified as Ihsaan-ul-Haq Khanday son of Nazir Ahmad Khanday resident of Faisalabad Sopore A/P Nowpora Kalan was apprehended. During checking, incriminating material including letter pad of TRF outfit has been recovered from his possession.

In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 82/2021 under relevant sections of law stands registered at police station and further investigation into the case is in progress and more arrests are expected.
