Grand Mufti Endorses Saying there is no “Qabahat”
Srinagar, 25 March, After 10 PM Valley witnessed reciting of “Azaans” from the loudspeakers of Mosques through out the entire valley of Kashmir.Reports reaching to from different Cornors of the valley revealed that as one of Mufti’s from Pakistan urged people to recite “Azaan” during the period epidemic.Following the appeal People across Khanbal to Khadanyar hastily reached local mosques and started reciting of “Azaans”.When Contacted Grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir Mufti Nasir ul Islam endorsed the call for reciting the same and told that there is nothing bad in it. He said in the times of Pandemic our Prophet Muhammad SAW has urged people to turn towards the Almighty and beg mercy from Him for our sins. But He was quick to say that gatherings should be avoided as already an advisory has been issued to this effect,he added.
