Kupwara April 20 : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today visited Handwara subdivision, inspected District Hospital and various markets of Handwara Sub Division.
The DC during the visit to District Hospital Handwara inspected various sections of the Hospital including Emergency Ward and Trauma Room. He interacted with the patients and enquired about the health facilities being provided by the Hospital Administration to them.
He also inspected various markets of the Handwara town and checked the usage of masks and adherence of Covid appropriate behaviour.
Later, the DC talked to media persons and appealed to the general public to follow Covid appropriate behaviour and make use of masks, sanitizers to protect themselves from the pandemic. He also urged upon the people to avoid unnecessary venturing out of their homes.
The DC during the visit was accompanied by Superintendent of Police Handwara, Sandeep Gupta; Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir; President Municipal Committee Handwara, Masroor Ahmad, President Traders Federation Handwara and other concerned officers. (KINS)
