ANANTNAG, MAY 6:- To further augment the oxygen capacity of the district, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Gh. Hassan Sheikh today inaugurated 500 LPM oxygen plant at dedicated Covid-19 hospital Bijbehara here. CMO, Dy. CMO, Engineers and officials of the Mechanical Engineering department were present on the occasion.
Pertinently, trauma hospital Bijbehara has been converted into a dedicated covid hospital with a capacity of 75 beds with oxygen facilities presently in place. The commissioned plan will boost the oxygen availability for the hospital with provision of high flow oxygen for covid patients.
Speaking on the occasion, The ADC said the administration is taking proactive steps to ensure the sufficient number of oxygenated beds are put in place for Covid patients across the district. He also appealed to the general public to strictly abide by the restrictions and to follow SOP’s besides getting themselves vaccinated against the disease.
