JAMMU, MAY 06: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr Raghav Langer today visited Udyog Bhawan and inspected the functioning of the 24×7 Oxygen War Room (control room) set up to manage supply and distribution of medical oxygen.
Established by the Industries and Commerce Department, the Divisional Oxygen Control room (Oxygen War Room) will monitor the management of supply and distribution of Medical oxygen to various health care institutions in Jammu division. The Government has also appointed Nodal officers to liaison between health care institutions and the Medical oxygen suppliers and to attend to the call of demand coming from different quarters like sick patients, private hospitals running ICU/ NICU etc.
The Div Com interacted with the team on duty and inquired about the overall functioning of the control room.
The Div Com also held a meeting with the officers deputed there. He instructed them to maintain a proper record of every call received at the control room and the action taken report.

Director Industries and Commerce, Anoo Malhotra; Nodal Officer, Madhur Anand and other concerned officers were also present in the meeting.
