Baramulla police solves burglary case; arrests 02 burglars

May 08: Police in Baramulla have solved a burglary case by arresting two accused persons involved in the Commission of crime.

Police Station Kunzer received a written complaint from Intizamiya Committee of Masjid Sharif Utikoo Kunzer about alleged theft of money from the donation box of Masjid Sharif.

On receiving the complaint, a case under relevant sections of law was registered and investigation was initiated.

During the course of investigation, police using modern techniques including the collection & examining the CCTV footage, zeroed in on one person identified as Ab Majid Lone son of Gh Ahmad Lone resident of Cheatham Chanpora Tangmarg. On questioning, the accused person confessed that he along with his accomplice namely Imran Hussain Mir son of Manzoor Ahmad Mir resident of Mirgund are involved in the commission of crime. Both the accused persons were arrested and shifted to Police Station where they remain in custody. Investigation in the matter is going on.

Community members have appreciated the efforts made by the Baramulla Police for solving the burglary case. Our efforts should assure community members that Police is resolved to act tough against the individuals involved in criminal activities.
