Security forces launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Narbal area in Central Kashmir’s district Budgam
Reports reaching news agency said a joint team of the army’s 2RR, SOG Magam cordoned off Bani-Pora Narbal village and conducted house to house searches there.
Reports said that all entry and exit points towards the area were sealed off by the security forces.
A police officer told news agency that a search operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Searches were going on in the area when reports last came in.
