Portraying from media, people use fake IDs during lockdown Handwara media urges administration to look into violations, forgery

Kupwara May 16: Since the Jammu and Kashmir administration has made easy access of journalists during corona curfew lockdown, some people are portraying from media, while using fake press IDs. A group of journalists from Handwara on Sunday urged the district administration and police to check the forgery.
A senior journalist from Handwara told here, that people venture out during lockdown, while using fake press IDs and creating a trouble for the working journalists of Kupwara.
We will frame a list of working journalists and will share the same with civil and police administration for the smooth travel of journalists, he said.

We also request administration to look into the matter and not let anyone to misuse the name of media, he added.

Its unfortunate that in order to venture out freely some people are portraying from media and creating a trouble for police and civil administration, the other journalist said.

We want police to swung into action and to stop these violations,he said.
We will frame a list of working journalist and will send copies to both civil and police administration of Kupwara for the smooth functioning of working journalists, he added.
