SHOPIAN, MAY 24: To Celebrate the Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Diwas-2021, the Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Shopian, Khursheed Ahmed Khatana along with Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Shopian, Dr.Arshid Tak and Medical Superintendent, District Hospital, Shopian today inaugurated Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra at District Hospital Shopian.
Speaking on the occasion, the CPO said that considerable progress has been made vis-à-vis improving facilities for patients in government hospitals besides all types of Generic Medicines will be made available at a lesser price.
He urged people to take maximum benefit from the Janaushadhi Kendra and avail the facilities.
The CMO briefed about the importance of the Scheme and urged the people to take maximum benefits from the Jan Aushadhi Store. He said that these stores would have a great impact on the lives of people by providing them quality medicines.
He added that the aim of the campaign is to reduce out of pocket expenses in the healthcare system.
Meanwhile, the Jan Aushadhi Stores were also inaugurated by Block Medical Officer Shopian in PHC Vehil, Block Medical Officer Zainapora at CHC Zainapora and Block Medical Officer Keller at CHC Keller.
