Srinagar, 27 May 2021. Lieutenant General CP Mohanty, PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, Vice Chief of Army Staff arrived in Ladakh to review the operational situation in the Sector. The Vice Chief of Army Staff visited Headquarters Fire & Fury Corps where he was briefed about the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness in Eastern Ladakh.
Lieutenant General CP Mohanty accompanied by Lieutenant General PGK Menon, AVSM, General Officer Commanding, Fire & Fury Corps will visit forward areas in Ladakh on 28th and 29th May and interact with troops who are deployed in some of the harshest terrain, altitude and weather conditions.
