750 LPM Oxygen Generation Plant likely to be commissioned today at GMC Doda.

DPRs are being framed for additional augmentation of 1000 LPM oxygen generation plant at GMC Doda, 500 LPM at Bhaderwah and Gandoh.

Covid Care facilities established in all 237 panchayats of the district* (DC Doda)

Positivity rate has come down in the district in considerable manner, 703 covid patients recovered in May.

Doda,May 28:
750 LPM Oxygen Generation Plant which is under process of installation at GMC Doda is likely to be commissioned today, as the entire concerned executing machinery is working tirelessly to get it functinal as soon as possible,the pipeline is being connected to the already established manifold, the statement has been made by the Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma while briefing to the media person’s at DC office Doda.

While speaking the DC informed that DPR for augmentation of additional 1000 LPM is also being framed for GMC Doda, besides DPR for installation of Oxygen Generation Plant of 500 LPM for Bhaderwah and Gandoh area is also under process.

He also says that the positivity rate in the entire district has come down in considerable manner during the month of May,among 1178 active cases only 28 are hospitalized and rest are under home isolation, besides 703 patients have been successfully recovered only in the ongoing month of May.

Regarding establishment of Covid Care Centres at Panchayat level,the DC informed that in all the 237 panchayats the 5 bedded facility has been established, covid medicine kits including testing kits have been mobolised including other necessary items,staff is deputed, besides said that grassroot level teams have also been constituted to supervise the functioning of the CC Centres.

With regard to the testing the DC informed that the testing has been increased in manifold across the district due to which number of cases have been detected and treated with timely intervention by the health department, adding to this distribution of medicine kits and tele consultation is being monitored and ensured on daily basis, besides 60% of the vaccination of the targeted groups have been achieved and is ongoing.

The DC appealed all the concerned falling in the category of targetted groups to get vaccinated, as early as possible, besides urged the people to follow Covid appropriate behaviour, adding to this asked them to bring any issue to the concerned authorities through control room which functional 24*7.
