Human Rights Nobel Award-2021’ conferred on Dr Darakhshan Andrabi

JAMMU, MAY 30:
Prominent social & political personality Dr Darakhshan Andrabi is awarded the Human Rights Nobel Award (HRNA) by Global Human Rights Trust as the ‘Most Inspiring Woman of the Year 2021’.
Dr Darakhshan Andrabi is the Chairperson Central Waqaf Development Committee of Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt of India. She is a very dynamic and most inspiring woman from Jammu and Kashmir whose social contribution is acclaimed at national level too.
She is being honored for her immense contribution to society. Her initiatives for sponsoring education for children of deprived families, awareness regarding environmental issues, sponsoring drug de-addiction camps, and campaign against corruption and her exceptional voluntary services amid times of crisis are an inspiration to one and all. Her campaigns for restoration of peace and brotherhood between different communities, regions and ethnicities in Jammu & Kashmir are praiseworthy. Her developmental vision-plans have guided the government in formulating and implementing many important programmes and schemes for J&K.
Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi has at her own undertaken many initiatives for the unemployed youth of Jammu & Kashmir.
Dr. Andrabi has been working day and night during these days of the pandemic for the past one year. She has been providing financial assistance to the many family poor members within J&K and out of the UT. Moreover, Dr. Andrabi is helping to provide ‘special pension/financial assistance’ for senior citizens who have lost their bread-earners due to the pandemic. She has also sponsored the educational expenses of many children from the affected families.
HUMAN RIGHTS NOBEL AWARD is a prestigious honour given to those who played a great role in human development.
This award is given away for exemplary contribution to society by GLOBAL HUMAN RIGHTS TRUST, an international organization functioning in entire India as well as abroad in many countries.
