DC Doda inspects rural covid care centers at Nichlathara, Drudhu Panchayats of Bhaderwah Says deployment of staff, necessary medical equipments ensured in all 237 centres

DODA, JUNE 03:  Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vikas Sharma today inspected patient care facilities at  rural Covid Care centres at Nichlathara and Drudhu Panchayats.

 The DC inquired about the availability of staff as well as other necessary equipment and medicines required for the smooth functioning of the Covid Care cum isolation Centres.

Speaking on the occasion, he informed centres have been set up to decentralise the health care facilities in rural areas amid Coronavirus threat, besides to provide the isolation facilities to the rural people who  lack  the facilities in their own house

The DDC said that Panchayat level covid management teams have also been constituted which includes Sarpanch, Panches, Secretary Panchayat, Asha, Anganwadi workers etc for the smooth functioning of the isolation Centres, while oximeters, thermometers, oxygen cylinders, medicine kits and other required stuff has been provided for the better care of the covid patients .

He further said that the Committee shall also identify the potential and suspected cases by way of conducting testing in their respective areas, which will help in breaking the chain of transmission of the virus.

Among others present during the inspection were ADC Bhaderwah, BMO Bhaderwah, BDO Bhaderwah besides other concerned officials of different departments.
