Shopian, June 4: A soldier died after slipping from a bridge in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Sources said that a soldier part of a patrolling party slipped from a bridge and fell down deep into a gorge.
The soldier was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Sources identified the deceased soldier as Arun Kumar of 62 Rashtriya Rifles.
