ANANTNAG, JUNE 05:As a significant step to boost the medical oxygen supply in the district, the Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Dr. Piyush Singla on Friday handed over Sixty (60) filled bulk medical oxygen cylinders to CMO at DC office here.
The fresh supply will further augment the oxygen facilities at Trauma hospital Bijbehara and other health centres in the district.
Meanwhile, these oxygen cylinders were donated by National Highway and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) as a welfare measure under their CSR component.
SP Hq, Nikhil Borkar ACR, Syed Yasir, Deputy CMO, Dr. M Y Zagoo and other officers were present on the occasion. The gesture was widely appreciated by the medical fraternity and people of the district.
