Srinagar, 06 Jun 2021. On 05 Jun 2021, based on a specific intelligence input, a joint team of Rashtriya Rifles, JKP and CRPF intercepted a tipper, which had crossed Jawahar Tunnel at Jammu-Srinagar highway near Qazigund, Kulgam and was moving towards Kakapore.
During thorough search of the tipper, a cache of arms containing two AK Rifles, ten pistols and nine grenades were recovered. Two Over Ground Workers (OGWs), who were travelling in the tipper, were arrested. Both the OGWs are residents of Samboora, Pampore. Interrogation by JKP is underway.
