*Director General Youth Services & Sports dedicates material for Rifle Shooting and fencing  games to the youth of the district at Sports Stadium Doda.*

DODA, JUNE 12: Director General Youth Services & Sports (DG-YSS), Dr Saleem-Ur-Rehman, dedicated material/equipments for Rifle Shooting and fencing  games to the youth of the district at Sports Stadium Doda.

On this occasion, District Youth Service and Sports Officer Doda Jaffar Header Sheikh and all the staff members of DYSS department Doda were present along with ZPEO and media persons.

The DG advised to keep open the newly launched  games like Rifle Shooting and Fencing for youth all the days, so that the participants/ players/ beginners could get the benefit and training properly.

He interacted with the sportspersons and said that sports inculcates discipline and gives a fillip to their determination to achieve the goals. Promotion of sports as integral part of our education curriculum goes a long way to facilitate over-all personality development of our youngsters, he added.

DG also handed over a mechanized pitch roller for cricket ground of Doda.

Later, Director General of Youth Service and Sport JK, visited Berbhag area of beoli panchayat for the inspection of land for 2nd cricket/ Sport stadium, coming up in Berbhag area in Doda.
