SSP Awantipora chairs security review meeting

June 12: SSP Awantipora Shri Mohammad Yousuf-JKPS chaired a security review meeting at District Police Lines Awantipora with all SDPOs, SHOs, In-charge PPs, In-charge PCs of Police District Awantipora.

SSP Awantipora held a detailed discussion regarding working of Awantipora Police on all fronts including enforcement of Covid protocol, security scenario, Law and order, Investigation, Crime/Complaints disposal, prosecution and other issues related to policing.

A detailed discussion on strengthening of counter insurgency grid was also held during the meeting. He directed the officers to strengthen the security grid in their respective areas.

SSP Awantipora also stressed upon all the participants to work in close tandem with security agencies and civil administration for better results. He advised the participants to constitute multiple joint teams of Police and Civil administration for strict enforcement of COVID protocol. Individuals found violating Covid appropriate behaviour be dealt under law.  It has also been emphasized to strengthen Police-Public relationship.  SDPOs & SHOs were advised to finalize the pending cases/public complaints within shortest possible time on merits.

SSP further stressed upon participants to redress public grievances on top priority in a time bound manner.
