Highlighting the importance of blood donation, the ADC said it ensures the blood banks are replenished regularly for timely utilisation by patients in need of blood. He said it is a big philanthropic activity and all healthy individuals should donate blood to serve humanity in real sense.

Pertinently, the donors were tested for Covid-19 beforehand by Rapid Antigen method for ensuring safety of the recipients.
