The Department of ISM (AYUSH) doda in collaboration with District Administration celebrated 7th International Day of Yoga under strict SOPs of COVID 19.

Doda, June 21. The Department of Indian System of Medicines (AYUSH) doda in collaboration with District Administration celebrated 7th International Day of Yoga under strict SOPs of COVID 19 at District Headquarter Doda and inall sub divisions and tehsils of the District. Today’s event also marked the conclusion of week long events related to YOGA Week celebrations.

Due to the prevailing COVID 19 pandemic it was decided to organize the event as an in-house activity with presence of not more than 10 persons. However the event was also organized at block level by Medical officers of the department. The session was also streamed live through Zoom app and was attended by participants throughout the district in which Yoga therapist Ms.Nidhi Padha demonstrated Yoga Asanas.Medical block Bhaderwah, Gundoh, Ghat and Assar followed strict COVID 19 guidelines while conducting YOGA events.

The department also organized one such event with department of tourism(BDA) at bhaderwah.

Dr. Sanjay Raina ADMO Doda thanked Director ISM J&K  and Deputy Commissioner Doda for guidance and support.
