Sopore, Jul 13: The family members of a 22-year-old missing youth here have urged their son to return home and appealed to the general public and police to help them in tracing him.

The youth, identified as Tanveer Ahmad Waza, son of Abdul Rasheed Waza of Kushaal Matoo of Sopore in Baramulla district went missing last week.

Tanveer’s family told the news agency that soon after he left home, they tried to contact him, but couldn’t get any response. “We called our relatives and his friends but could not find him anywhere,” he said, while appealing to his son to return home.

After failing to trace him, the family has filed a missing report in Police Station Sopore.

Meanwhile, Police officials said that the family has lodged a missing report and further investigation has been taken up in this regard.
