1. Today’s generation has the most powerful devices in their hands that can take amazing photographs. When that is coupled with the natural beauty of Kashmir, some amazing opportunities open up for the youth seeking employment as well as nature lovers seeking to immortalise a beautiful moment. In order to empower the youth in the area and also to channelise their energies into productive activities, Bandipora RR of Indian Army conducted Mobile Photography Basic Classes at Bapura Army Camp which was attended by 16 youth of the area.
2. The company commander who himself is a photography enthusiast personally conducted the classes wherein the youth were explained about the optics, composition, meteres, photo treatment, gear and various other modalities related to the subject. The youth were encouraged to believe in themselves and strive for excellence in their professional ambitions. These classes were concluded with informal interaction over tea wherein the company commander and the youth had a heart to heart talk about everything in their lives.
3. The event proved to be a great platform for empowering the youth and strengthening the bonds of friendship between the Army and the Awaam.
