KUPWARA, JUNE 03: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Anshul Garg today inspected 100 bedded Quarantine Facility at University Campus Wayan for various arrangements being put in place by concerned executing departments for quarantined. On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner inspected various arrangements which include power, water, sanitation and other amenities in the building to be provided to the inmates during quarantine period.He also inspected the ongoing construction work on water pump project which is being completed to provide uninterrupted water supply to the facility.As the Campus is located in a serene and eco-friendly environment, the Quarantine Facility is being designated for the elderly people (for Quarantine) to provide them with good ambience, said DC.The Deputy Commissioner directed the executing agency and the Nodal Officer for COVID-19 to ensure that the said facility is made functional within 2 days positively.The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Nazir Ahmad Lone; CMO, Executive Engineers of PDD, PHE, R&B and other concerned departments.
