Doda, August, 4: In order to celebrate the ongoing Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, to augment the spirit of Nationalism in young generation and promote the fit india and fit Doda movement among the youth of Doda, DDC Doda Vikas Sharma flagged off cycle rally and padh yatra from Sports Stadium Doda.
The Rally and Padh Yatra was organised by Youth Services & Sports department Doda under the instructions of Director, Youth Services & Sports Mr. Mohammad Ashraf Batt and under supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Doda Mr. Jaffar Haider Sheikh.
About 225 Boys and Girls participated from Govt. as well as Private Institution of Zone Doda and Ghat.
Also PEM, PELREK’s. NYC of both zone of Dada and Ghat took part in the Cycle Rally and Padh Yatra. The Cycle Rally and Padh Yatra started from Sports Stadium Dode upto Mini Secretariat Dodo and returned back and culminated at Sports Stadium Doda.
The Chief Guest (DDC) appreciated the efforts of Department of Youth Services and Sports for organizing such a huge cycle rally and Padh Yatra in disciplined manner and following SOP’s and guidelines of Covid-19. He advised to organise such event in future also so that the spirit of Nationalism can be developed among the young generation.
The Department or Youth Services and Sports also provided refreshment and certeftcates to the participating students.
CEO Doda, DIO Doda and other officials of education and YSS department were present in Sports Stadium Doda during the program.
