Independence Day marks the end of British Rule on 15 August, 1947 and the establishment of a free and independent Indian nation. We celebrate Independence Day with a feeling of nationalism and patriotism across the country. This auspicious day makes us forget our cultural differences and unite together as a nation. We also remember our freedom fighters and all examplar heroes who laid down their lives for our Independence. We salute them and pay respect for their sacrifices made towards the creation of this great nation.
As part of the celebrations Independence Day Painting Competition was organised @
Army Camp,Jaba which witnessed participation from the nearby villages of Budshungi, Khanpura, Satkoji, Brinjal and Dardaji. Total 47 childrens alongwith 04 elders attended the event. The painting theme was AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV as part of 75 Weeks of Celebration to commemorate 75th Anniversary Indian Independence in 2022 when India turns 75. The event was conducted for the young participants to imbibe the feeling of patriotism and integration towards the Indian Nation.
