IT was launched today at HQ 73 Bn CRPF Bemina, Srinagar. CRPF, in its endeavours to help youth find and build careers, has started a few such initiatives. While, “Ilm-e-Rozgar”, launched last month, helps youngsters, by way of counselling and coaching to prepare for various competitive examinations, the initiative of “Maharat-W-Mashiyat” aims to reach out to the youth of Srinagar and neighbouring region and equip them with relevant employment oriented skills through digital education. Today’s event elicited very warm response and was attended by 45 youngsters. These youngsters will be provided with career counselling by professional counsellors from Naandi Foundation and based upon their qualifications and aptitude, will be subsequently trained on various courses. On successful completion of training, they will be assisted in landing suitable employment opportunities.
The programme was inaugurated by Ms. Charu Sinha, IPS, IGP CRPF, Srinagar sector, in the presence of Shri Randeep Kumar Rana, DIG, CRPF Srinagar North, Shri Hargyan Singh Gurjar, Commandant 73 Bn CRPF and executives of Naandi Foundation and Mahindra Pride Classroom.
