A sudden fire broke out in a shop in Surankote town near Govt Girls Higher Secondary School Surankote . Tehsildar Surankote, Sheraz Ahned Chowhan(KAS) and SHO Surankote , Jatinder Singh Sambyal along with police team immediately rushed to the spot. People from adjoining areas also rushed to the spot. Fire brigade was called and fire was controlled within q short time.
However, one Shop were completely gutted in the incident. belonging to Amjed Chauhan S/0 Mohd Rafeeq R/0 Samote, Tehsil Surankote Distt Poonch.
With the timely efforts of Fire Brigade and locals further spread of fire was prevented. If this fire were not controlled in time, this could have spread in whole market. Further investigations in the incident are being done. SDM Surankote, Naeem ul Nisa, assured that legal action in the matter would be taken on priority .
