Elderly woman critically injured in bear attack at Kralgund

Handwara, Aug 28: A 78-year old woman was critically injured after she was attacked by a bear attacked in Kralgund area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday afternoon.

An official told the news agency that a bear attacked and injured Raja Begum of Kralgund village Handwara when she was in a maize field.

He said that she was shifted to sub-district hospital Handwara, where from she was referred to GMC Baramulla for advanced treatment.
