*Police-public interaction meeting facilitated in Bandipora*
*September 09:* “`As a part of public outreach programme, Police public interaction meeting was facilitated by Bandipora police at Check Kralpora Mantrigam.
The meeting was chaired by SHO PS Pethkote Insp. Tanveer Ahmad. The meeting was attended by respectable citizens, civil society members and youths of Mantrigam and its adjoining areas.
During the meeting, various issues related to drug abuse, gambling & other issues were discussed. The chairing officers assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.
Addressing the participants SHO PS Pethkote sought their cooperation in maintaining peace and tranquillity in the area and root out the menace of drugs and other social menaces. The participants assured their full cooperation to police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinion freely.“`
