Div Com reviews development works; asks to expedite work on B2V, languishing, other projects

JAMMU, JUNE 12: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma, today held a meeting with Deputy Commissioners through video conferencing to review progress on development works being executed under various schemes in districts of Jammu division.

Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Kishtwar, Doda and Reasi along with officers of executing agencies attended the meeting.

The Divisional Commissioner sought details of each executed project in the districts and was apprised of the present status of work on various development projects by the concerned Deputy Commissioners.

The Div Com reviewed the progress on Back to Village works, languishing projects, works under convergence mode, MGNREGA works and other development works being executed by line departments in the districts.

The DCs apprised the Div Com of total works approved under various schemes and total works completed so far in their respective districts. They also informed about the financial status of projects.

It was informed that the works under Back to Village, Languishing projects, convergence mode and MGNREGA works are in progress in all the districts.

The Div Com asked the DCs to submit the requirement of funds for works under various schemes in his office besides instructing them to make a month wise completion plan of all executed works. He also directed the DCs to expedite the pace of works on Back to Village works, languishing projects, Convergence mode and other executed works for timely completion.
