Gazanfar Ali chairs meeting of all ALTs, Pre-ALTs of Kashmir Division

In order to framing of State Council J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides, a meeting of ALTs & Pre- ALTs of Kashmir Division was held under the Chairmanship of Mr. Gazanfar Ali, JKAS, Director, Youth Services and Sports J&K Government/ State Chief Commissioner J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides here today in the meeting hall of the Directorate of Youth Services & Sports J&K Srinagar in a very efficient and cordial atmosphere.

Mtr. Nasreen Khan, former Administrator welcomed all the members, who were present in the meeting and who were kind enough to grace the meeting with their valuable suggestions to make the meet great success.

After the detailed discussion with all the members and suggestion received from the honourable members, the State Chief Commissioner framed the State Council of J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides on the spot and the same unanimously accepted by the house.

Mr. Gazanfar Ali, JKAS, Director, Youth Services and Sports J&K Government/ State Chief Commissioner J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides in his closing remarks/address conveyed thanks to the entire house for honouring me as State Chief Commissioner of J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides. He briefly explained the role and function of Scouts and Guides for the community development initiatives and role of Scouts and Guides in bringing the Youth from Negativity to Positivity. He as State Chief Commissioner J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides assured all the possible support for the development and growth of J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides in the entire Jammu & Kashmir. He suggested that as per the need of the hour, members of Scout/Guide movement have to be updating themselves according to the present scenario of the Modern World. As the current situation is such that what we make, we are not able to sell/present it in its modern way. We all have to work so hard that all walks of society will come forward to support our noble movement Bharat Scouts and Guides from time to time. He further said focus should be given to have regular meetings/Trainings/ events /Camps etc either online or offline so that we will be able to engage ourselves in one or the other way for the progress and development of Scouting and Guiding.

Those who were present in the meeting include, Mtr. Nasreen Khan, former Administrator, J&K BS&G, Mtr. Gulshan Ara. (Officer I/C (KD) State Headquarters, Srinagar), Mtr. Hafeeza Akhter, Former Assistant State Commissioner (G), Shri. G A Parray, ALT (S), Shri. M A Tramboo ALT (S), Mtr. Saleema Parveen ALT (G), Shri. Massarat Hussain Andrabi, ALT (S), Mr. Ali Mohammad Wani, ALT (S), Shri. Mohammad Akram Ganaie (ALT), Mrs. Hamida Bano Pre-ALT (G), and Mrs. Firdous Ahad, Pre-ALT (G)

Mr. Massarat Hussain Andrabi ALT (S) presented the vote of thanks to all the members.
