Srinagar. 30 Nov 21. In a goodwill gesture and endeavour to reach out to the
Awaam, Baramulla Battalion distributed sewing machines at Janbaaz Tailoring
Centre, Khanpora. Incharge of the Tailoring Centre had approached the Army to help
them reopen the tailoring shop, which used to provide employment to many
uneducated village girls thereby overcoming societal hinderances. The Tailoring
Centre was shut for a long time because of want of new Sewing machines and
funds.
Indian Army in a goodwill gesture provided monetary assistance and sewing
machines to kickstart the Tailoring Centre. The people thanked the Army for the
gesture.
