The locals of Ganderbal Civil Society and Officials of District Administration came together to pay their homage to all those who lost their lives in the fatal Helicopter crash on 08 Dec 2021. They extended their deepest condolences to all who had lost their lives and were extremely saddened on hearing the untimely demise of their CDS General Bipin Rawat, Mrs Madhulika & all others on board.
Candles were lit & Two minutes of silence was observed as a mark of respect and in honour of those who lives were lost while on duty.The locals were in utter shock & disbelief on hearing the news, and they had approached the Army to facilitate the conduct of this solemn event. This event helped further cement the bond between the AWAM and ARMY and speaks volumes of the bonhomie of the local people with the Army.
