Bike rider dies in Kulgam road accident

Kulgam , 28-Dec: A motorcyclist died while as his pillion riders were injured in a road accident at chatabal area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday.

Police said that a tipper (JK04A-5847) hit a bike (DL9S-AA3391) rider leaving them injured. The injured was identified as Altaf Sheikh, son of Ali Mohd Sheikh from Kulgam.

All the injured were rushed to a nearby healthcare facility, where Altaf succumbed to his injuries, the official said. However, the identity of others was yet to be ascertained.

Meanwhile, Police have arrested the tipper driver and registered a case in this regard and further investigation taken up.
