CEO Ganderbal disregards Principal Secretary Asgar Samoon’s direction relieve teaching officials

SULIMAN SEITH:CEO Ganderbal was supposed to relieve 3 teaching officials within 2 days but no one has been relieved after 7 days

Ganderbal 22 June JKNS:In clear violation of the professional practice CEO Ganderbal ignored order from Directorate of School Education (DSEK) which gave clear directions to relieve the teaching officials immediately who are posted in different offices for more then 3 years.

In this regard the complaince report was supposed to be filed within 2 days positively.

Principal Secretary Asgar Samoon had written to director DSEK to relieve the teaching officials mentioned in list forward to director

The order directs CEO of all districts in Kashmir to relieve the teaching staff who were posted at different offices for more than 3 years.

Sources told JKNS that CEO Ganderbal,who is also Principal DIET Ganderbal has disregarded the order and the 3 teaching staff which were ordered to be relieved have not been relieved so far.

In the list attached with the order 3 teaching officals ,which are Ali Mohd (Teacher DIET Ganderbal), Sheikh Suhail (Teacher DIET Ganderbal) and Mansoor Ahmed (Lecturer), under serial number (135,136,137),they have been posted in CEO office G’bal for 7,8 and 8 years respectively

Under the 2010 government transfer policy, the minimum tenure of a government employee on a particular post should be two years which can be extended to a maximum of three years. However, some officials and teachers in Ganderbal district have not been transferred for 10 years.

Sources told JKNS that these 3 teaching officials should have been relieved very much early but despite order of DESK they have not been relieved yet.

Sources further added that there has been role of influence which made the official disregard the order of the DESK and there might be some bureaucratic or political approach which is stopping the transfer order.

Sources said these things are seriously effecting education system in UT Jammu Kashmir.

When JKNS Contacted Chief Education Officer Ganderbal Nahida Neelofar She said,We had some clerical staff problem in our offices, so it took little time now we will relieve them today,she added.
