Kashmir records 2nd Coronavirus death

Srinagar, March 29: Kashmir valley on Sunday reported its second coronovirus death at Chest Disease (CD) hospital Srinagar and he was laid rest at Sulanda Village of Tangmarg north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The patient was referred from SMHS hospital and had tested positive for Covid19 on Saturday. As per the doctors at hospital, the patient was put on a ventilator on Saturday evening and he was suffering from liver ailment.
“The person who died in the hospital had no travel history but he had met a couple who had come from Saudi Arabia. The couple is currently admitted in Government Medical College (GMC) in Baramulla,” the official said.
It was second death in Kashmir due to Coronavirus. Earlier a 65-year-old man from Hyderpora died at CD hospital.
An eyewitness at Tangmarg told JKNS that funeral of the deceased was performed as per WHO guidelines and only 5-6 persons attended the funeral of the deceased. (JKNS)
