At a time when India is battling with third wave of COVID-19 coupled with harsh winters with heavy snowfall the Indian army is not only gaurding the boundaries but also been engaged in facilitating the essential needs of citizens. The Mendhar Gunners went beyond their call of duty and provided assistance in the form of cooked food for the migrant labours in the area.
Besides distributing food the Mendhar Gunners also distributed essential items of winter like clothing, gloves, blankets and also winter clothing.
The Mendhar Gunners are doing it from last three days , inspite of bad weather and heavy snowfall in the region they are going to nearby villages and giving a helping hand to the villagers.
The humane gesture was well received by locals and they lauded the brave men who put their lives at risk to bring relief to the villagers.
